How to Completely Remove All LatePoint Data on Plugin Deletion

By default, deleting the LatePoint plugin does not remove your data. This protects your bookings and settings in case you reinstall the plugin.

In LatePoint version 5.2.10 and above, we introduced an optional feature that allows you to permanently delete all plugin data upon removal. This option must be enabled manually before deleting the plugin.

⚠️ This option is hidden by default to prevent accidental data loss.

How to Enable “Remove All Data on Plugin Deletion”

Step 1: Open LatePoint Settings with Danger Zone Enabled

• Go to WordPress Admin → LatePoint → Settings
• In your browser address bar, add the following to the end of the URL: &danger_zone
Example: https://YOURWEBSITE.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=latepoint&route_name=settings__general&danger_zone
• Press Enter to reload the page.

Step 2: Open the Danger Zone Section

After reloading the page, you will see a new section on the LatePoint > Settings > General > Danger Zone

Inside this section, you will find the option: “Remove all data on plugin deletion”

Turn ON the “Remove all data on plugin deletion” toggle if you want LatePoint to permanently delete:

• All database tables created by LatePoint
• Bookings
• Customers
• Agents
• Services
• Settings and configurations

Important: This Action Is Permanent

If you enable this option and then delete the LatePoint plugin:

• All LatePoint data will be permanently removed
• The data cannot be recovered
• This action cannot be undone

Before enabling this option, please export all LatePoint data and ensure you have a full backup, as it should only be used if you are permanently removing LatePoint or completely resetting your system.
