How to Update to Version 5.1.0
We now have a free version of LatePoint in public plugin repository: https://wordpress.org/plugins/latepoint/
In order for us to be listed in a repository – we were required to make a few changes to our core code – one of them was removing the ability to install or update our addons from within this core version. Instead now the PRO version has that ability. Because the core version is missing that functionality – you won’t be able to install/update addons until you install the latest version of our PRO Features addon.
If you have a PRO Features addon version less than 1.1.1 – please delete it by going to your Plugins page in WordPress admin, don’t worry – this does not delete any data.
Once you’ve deleted the older version – download the latest version of the PRO features addon (available under your account at latepoint.com) and install through WordPress Admin -> Plugins page.
!IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are upgrading from version 4 – you have to delete the following addons BEFORE installing PRO Features addon:
- Custom Fields
- Locations
- Webhooks
- Qr Code
- Reminders
- Role Manager
- Timezone Selector
- Group Bookings
- Taxes
- Service Durations
- Service Extras
- Messages
- Coupons
Once you install the latest version – you will noticed that Settings -> System page is no longer there, it is because we renamed it to “Premium Features”:
