How to Set Base Fee for Group Bookings
The Base Fee is a fixed charge added once per booking for a group service, regardless of the number of attendees.
This can be used for setup costs, equipment rental, room fees, or any other fixed cost.
The Base Fee is charged once per booking and is added on top of the regular service price. This option is available only for services with Group Bookings enabled.
Example:
- Service price: $15 per attendee
- Base Fee: $10
A booking for 3 attendees will cost:
$15 × 3 + $10 = $55
How to Configure a Base Fee
- Go to LatePoint > Services.
- Edit the required service.
- Scroll to the Group Bookings section.
- Enter the amount in the Base Fee field.
- Save the service.
Leave the value as 0 to disable the base fee.
When a Base Fee is configured, it will be displayed in the booking summary so customers can see the additional charge.
