E-Tickets and QR Code Check-In
LatePoint Pro supports E-Tickets with QR codes for Event Registrations. You can use them to scan attendees at the event or check them in manually.
Enable E-Tickets
Go to LatePoint > Settings > General > Events , and Enable Enable E-Tickets – QR Code.

Once enabled, LatePoint automatically generates a unique ticket and QR code when an event registration is created.
Individual and Group Tickets
LatePoint creates one individual ticket for each attendee.
For example, a registration for 3 tickets creates:
- Ticket 1 of 3
- Ticket 2 of 3
- Ticket 3 of 3
- Group Ticket
A registration for 1 ticket creates only one individual ticket.
Each ticket has its own unique ticket code, QR code, public ticket page, and downloadable PDF.
If Ticket Types are enabled, the ticket type is included in the label, for example VIP — Ticket 1 of 3.
Check-In Page
Go to LatePoint > Events > Tickets
Select an event to view its tickets.

From this page, you can:
- Search for a ticket using its ticket code.
- View ticket and attendee details.
- View or download a ticket.
- Manually check in a ticket.
- Scan an E-Ticket using the Scan E-Ticket button.
Scanning E-Tickets
Click Scan E-Ticket to open the scanner.

You can:
- Scan the QR code using your device’s camera.
- Enter the ticket code manually if scanning is not possible.
After validation, LatePoint displays the ticket and attendee details along with the check-in result.

Possible results include:
- Valid: The ticket was successfully checked in.
- Partially Checked In: Some tickets in a Group Ticket have been checked in.
- All Checked In: All tickets in the group have already been checked in.
- Already Checked In: The ticket has already been checked in for that date.
- Not Found: The ticket code is invalid.
- Cancelled / Event Cancelled: The registration or event has been cancelled.
- Void: The ticket has been voided.
- Not Valid Today: The ticket is being used outside its valid event date.
Group Ticket Check-In
Scanning a Group Ticket checks in all individual tickets in that registration that have not already been checked in.
For example, if 1 of 3 attendees has already checked in individually, scanning the Group Ticket will check in the remaining 2 attendees.
Multi-Day Events
For multi-day events, a ticket can be checked in once on each valid event date.
For example, for an event running from September 15–17, the same ticket can be checked in once on each of those three dates.
Scanning the same ticket again on the same date returns Already Checked In.
Manual Check-In
QR code scanning is optional. You can manually check in attendees from: LatePoint > Events > Tickets
Each ticket has a Check In action.

This is useful when you are working from a printed attendee list or cannot scan the QR code.
