How to Issue Refunds in LatePoint

This article explains how to refund customer payments collected through your LatePoint booking system.

LatePoint allows you to issue full or partial refunds directly from the order page in WordPress. Refunds are processed through the original payment gateway and automatically recorded in LatePoint.

Supported Payment Gateways

Refunds are available for payment gateways that natively support refund processing through LatePoint.

If a transaction is eligible for a refund, a Refund button will appear next to the transaction. For payment methods that do not support automated refunds, refunds must be processed directly through the payment provider.

How to Refund

  1. Go to LatePoint → Orders.
  2. Open the order that contains the transaction you want to refund.
  3. Scroll to the Transactions section.
  4. Click the Refund button next to the eligible transaction.
  5. Choose one of the following options:
    • Full Refund – Refunds the remaining unrefunded amount.
    • Custom Amount – Refunds a specific amount of your choice.
  6. Confirm the refund.

Once processed, the refund details will be recorded in the transaction history, including the refunded amount and date.
